Up to JMD $50,000

The Funeral Grant (FG) is financial support the JCPD provides to help offset the funeral expenses of a deceased registered client, offering a maximum of Fifty Thousand Jamaican Dollars (JMD $50,000). The deceased must have been registered with the JCPD before death. The claim requires a burial order, an invoice for the burial, and evidence that a payment has already been made toward the funeral expenses in the form of a receipt. The applicant must be unemployed or earning no more than the national minimum wage.
